INDEPENDENCE - Ann Dee Odle Straw, 55, Independence, Mo., departed this life at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 1998, in Independence Regional Health Center.

Ann was born October 13, 1942, in Mountain grove, Mo., to Raymond "Andy" and Maxine Williams Odle. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methhodist Church, Mountain Grove. She was a customer service representative for GEHA in Independence.

Surviving are her children, Derek Hopper and his wife Michelle, Bates City, Mo., and Angela Heather and her husband, Mark, Pleasant Hill, Mo., her mother, Maxine Odle, of the home; a sister, Sharon Clary and her husband, Gene, Mountain Grove, Mo.; her brother, Terry Odle, Independence, Mo.; and four granchildren, Amber and Matt Heather, and Lindsey and Morgan Hopper.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1998, in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mountain Grove, under direction of Speaks Suburban Chapel, Independence, Mo.

Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
