I plan to attend the 40th reunion. It's difficult to believe that forty years has elapsed since we graduated from high school.

My life has changed in the last two years. I went from having two full-time jobs to full-time retirement. I retired from the Wichita Fire Department in October of 1998, and sold my business in March this year.

My daughter Lori, son-in-law Gordon and three grandchildren, Sydney who is 12, and Sam & Max who are 10, live just outside of Wichita. My son, Chris, who is newly married, lives north of Atlanta, Ga.

I find that attending my grand-daughters dance recitals and my twin grandsons ball games demand a lot more of my time than my children activities ever did.

We haven't traveled much since we retired, except a short trip to Panama City Beach, Florida, to check on some property we own there.
