My Job
What can I say? The position I hold is the Highway District Director of about 220 miles of road. It has been more than a job! It has been a real pleasure to be part of this great community of friends for the past 24 years. I've actually been a public employee and working for Canyon County for about 28 years now. I have seven men who work for me and are more friends than employees Everyone gets along and seems to enjoy their work. My assistant Director makes my job very easy. He's a good man with good work ethics. My job is to coordinate the work activities associated with keeping up the road surfaces, building bridges, and communicate with the public. I am getting ready to retire in twenty-two and a half months from now. I can hardly wait!!!!!

Family
Let me start with my wife. She has been a dream come true. She is my best friend and a real partner in life. I truly feel we were made for each other. She is the love of my life. We have four children, three girls and a boy. We have ten grandchildren and one on the way. I have three great son-in-laws and my son has a very nice girlfriend who fits in with our family very well. We have been successful with our children who are all well and happy. Does this sound like a fairy tale? Maybe so, but it is our real life. We have been very fortunate.

Hobbies
My wife and I enjoy fishing and spending time at our log cabin in the mountains. Our little hide-away, as we call it. We love sharing it with friends and family during the summertime and even snowshoe in during the winter occasionally. I also enjoy hunting during the fall months which is where I've spent most of my vacation time. We have some beautiful country here in Idaho and I take advantage of it anytime I can. If any of you come out this way, don't hesitate to look us up. OK?

Summary
I might sum it all up by saying, "Time goes by fast when you're having fun. My life has gone way too fast. I must have really enjoyed myself.
